CLEVELAND (2016 Rio Olympics) – Matthew Dellavedova has lived and breathed huge moments on the basketball court, moments that most other players can only dream of experiencing. He had a spectacular NCAA career with Saint Mary’s in Moraga, California, becoming the college’s all-time leading scorer. The Gaels retired his number.
The 1.93m point guard played for Australia at the London Olympics while still a collegian. Dellavedova also experienced the thrill of logging major minutes for the Cleveland Cavaliers in last year’s NBA post-season. He became a household name around the world after leading the Cavs to a precious victory over Chicago.
